Haven Workspace is a commercial office interior designed for a growing advisory firm in Stockholm seeking a workplace that reflects professionalism while supporting a healthier and more flexible way of working. Inspired by Scandinavian design principles, the project emphasizes simplicity, natural materials, and carefully planned spaces that encourage both collaboration and focused individual work. Open work areas, quiet meeting rooms, informal lounges, and shared social spaces are seamlessly connected to create an intuitive workplace experience. Oak finishes, textured fabrics, muted colors, and soft lighting establish a calm atmosphere that promotes comfort throughout the day. Every design decision prioritizes functionality, longevity, and employee wellbeing, resulting in an office environment that feels welcoming, efficient, and adaptable to the evolving needs of a modern business.
The client's previous office relied on traditional enclosed workspaces that limited communication, reduced natural daylight, and offered little flexibility for different working styles. Our approach reimagined the workplace around a series of interconnected zones that support collaboration without sacrificing privacy. Open workstations are complemented by acoustic meeting rooms, focus booths, and relaxed lounge areas, allowing employees to choose the environment best suited to each task. Custom oak joinery provides integrated storage while helping define circulation throughout the office without introducing unnecessary visual barriers. A restrained palette of pale timber, natural stone, charcoal accents, and woven textiles reinforces the calm architectural language while adding warmth and texture. Layered lighting combines generous daylight with adjustable ambient fixtures to create comfortable working conditions throughout the day. The completed workplace encourages productivity, strengthens team interaction, and reflects a contemporary office culture centered on flexibility, wellbeing, and thoughtful design.
