Atelier North is a commercial interior project designed for a multidisciplinary creative studio in Berlin. The workspace was envisioned as an environment that supports collaboration while offering quiet areas for focused work, balancing openness with privacy. Inspired by contemporary European design, the interiors combine natural timber, textured finishes, and carefully layered lighting to create a calm yet highly functional atmosphere. Flexible meeting areas, custom workstations, and integrated storage allow the office to adapt effortlessly to changing team dynamics and project requirements. Every design decision prioritizes comfort, productivity, and longevity, ensuring the space remains relevant as the studio continues to grow. The completed workplace reflects the client's creative identity while providing a welcoming environment where employees and visitors feel equally inspired and at ease.

The original office occupied an industrial building with generous ceiling heights but lacked spatial organization, resulting in disconnected work areas and inefficient circulation. Our design approach focused on creating a cohesive workplace where collaboration and concentration could exist side by side without compromise. Open workstations were arranged around shared creative zones, while enclosed meeting rooms and quiet booths provide privacy for discussions and focused tasks. Bespoke ash wood cabinetry, integrated shelving, and acoustic wall panels improve organization while reducing visual and acoustic distractions throughout the space. A restrained material palette of timber, exposed concrete, blackened steel, and soft upholstery introduces warmth while respecting the building's industrial character. Carefully positioned lighting enhances both task performance and ambience, allowing the office to transition comfortably throughout the day. The result is a flexible workplace that encourages creativity, supports productivity, and reflects the studio's modern design philosophy.
